Criminal Justice
Welcome to the Criminal Justice Club! This club provides students interested in Law Enforcement, Courts, and Corrections a more in-depth and hands-on approach to the Criminal Justice system. Students are able to attend field trips and compete.
We will compete in both State and Local competitions. Events that students compete in are; traffic stops, felony traffic stops, DUI, CSI, Appellate Court Arguments, Domestic Violence Scenarios, etc. This club will boost self-confidence, public speaking skills, critical thinking skills, and many other skills which will enhance a student's ability to succeed.
February 20, 2020 - Gallatin High School Criminal Justice Club Competition
On Friday, February 14, 2020, ten students from the Gallatin High School Criminal Justice Club participated in a Criminal Justice competition at Volunteer State Community College with schools from Davidson County.
Categories included: CSI, DUI, Appellate Court Argument, Trivia, Firearms Simulator, Job Interview, Radio Traffic, Domestic, Traffic Stops and Felony Traffic Stops.
GHS Criminal Justice Club students finished the competition 1st overall.
They placed 1st in the following categories: Trivia, Job Interview, CSI, Traffic Stop, and Radio Communication.
GHS also placed second in DUI, Domestic, Simulator and Felony Traffic Stops.
