The PSAT-NMSQT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test-National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) will be held here at GHS on October 13 at 8:00am in the Sports Center. Students may begin signing up for this Wednesday, Sept. 15th in the Guidance office. The cost is $20. Make checks payable to Gallatin High School. Students cannot sign up and reserve a spot until they pay. Once they pay, they will receive a practice book. This test is for 10th and 11th grade students only. It is a practice test for 10th graders and is the actual qualifying test for 11th graders. We have 100 spots available. First come, first serve. We generally fill each spot every year.
We encourage only honors and AP students sign up.
